Photo Essay
Over the course of Thanksgiving break, I wanted to focus on my family gathering and the little notes of love that are shown throughout. My inspiration in all I do, both with life and art, is love, empathy, and connection. I believe that by slowing down, you are able to realize all the little things that surround you are truly filled with so much emotion. Luckily, I have been blessed in my life to have a positive and welcoming support system throughout all my years which I know is rare. So, I hope by sharing a glimpse of my life with viewers, they can feel the connection that I do. Life is too short to not appreciate the "little" things. During my family’s gathering, we celebrated not only Thanksgiving but Christmas as well. This is why decorating the tree as well as a sweet Christmas card were shown on display. I also believe my grandmothers house to be a very serene and loving place, so I wanted to showcase those emotions with her decor as well as dedication to take care of everyone all the time, especially around the holidays. The opportunity for me to photograph my family and the environment I am surrounded by, was a perfect way for me to convey my emotions.
